All building permits can be applied for online!
To apply online, you first need to set up an account. We have detailed information on how to set up an account here.
Important information:
· For Residential Solar permits that qualify for automatic issuance, go here to get your approval first: https://www.rpcity.org/city_hall/departments/development_services/building/solar_permits
· Solar projects that do not qualify for auto issuance under SB379, apply for an Electrical permit.
· Water Heater and Residential Solar will require payment in full and will auto issue. Please make sure if you apply for these permits that the scope of work does not include additional work or the permit will need to be voided.
· Detailed information on the application process and creating an account can be found on the Rohnert Park building website.
· When attaching files, please adhere to the provided file naming conventions before uploading. Follow these steps:
1. Select the file to upload.
2. Rename the file according to the naming guide.
3. Click 'Upload' to complete the process.
Note: Omitting the 'Upload' step will prevent the files from being linked to your application.
For Transportation Permit applications, ensure you upload the necessary insurance documentation.
· To view attachments, right click and choose "Save link / target as ..." to save it to your computer.
